How Hayley’s Lunches Began...

I started Hayley’s Lunches in 2025, finally turning my lifelong passion for food and cooking into something real.

I originally studied Food & Consumer Management at Birmingham College of Food, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with dreams of working in the food industry straight after graduation. Life, however, had other plans.

​

Instead, I ventured into consulting on nutrition, diet, and fitness before spending 25 years in Human Resource Management. It was a rewarding career, but after two and a half decades, I felt I'd hit a ceiling. That little dream of running my own sandwich shop kept calling.

​

In 2024, I took the leap and bought my food truck. I spent months researching the market, learning what customers really wanted, and planning how to bring fresh, flavourful lunches to busy people like you.

Since then, things have gone from strength to strength. Now you can even order your lunch right here on the website for next-day delivery, straight to your door.
